Amy Ranno joined the University of Michigan in July 2014 as a human resources generalist senior for the Facilities and Operations division. As a member of the F&O HR team, Amy assists the F&O human resources officer in executing the HR strategy throughout the division by providing strategic support in the areas of employee relations, compliance, diversity, performance management, HR analysis, succession planning, and organizational development. She works collaboratively with University Human Resources and management teams to ensure the consistent communication and application of university policies, practices, procedures, and regulatory controls.
Amy brings more than 13 years of progressive human resources generalist and employee and labor relations experience to U-M. She has a diverse HR background which includes the automotive industry as well as hospital and public utilities.
Amy holds a bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master of business administration degree in strategic management and human resource management from Davenport University.
